Shae and Ben | World Grotto Wedding Photography | Knoxville, TN

Shae & Ben were married on June 3rd at one of our *favorite* places in Knoxville, Sequoyah Hills Park. They had planned a beautiful late afternoon ceremony outdoors in the park, but those plans were threatened by some pretty heavy rains earlier in the day. Everyone pulled together to keep spirits high as we all hoped and prayed that the rain would break.. and it did.. about 20 minutes before the ceremony started!

I started out with the girls over at Ben's house while they primped and pampered, while Matt spent time with the guys in their hotel room:









After the rain, we were left with some absolutely beautiful misty light for the ceremony:





Shae and Ben were so cute all throughout their ceremony.. I wasn't too sure they were going to be able to wait until their first kiss!



After the ceremony we rounded up the wedding party for their relaxed photo session. At one point, Matt leaned over and whispered jokingly into my ear, "How much do you think we'd have to pay her to get in the fountain?" No sooner than I had turned around did I see Shae hiking up her dress and climbing in!



Soon after, Ben joined her on the other side of the fountain, and they did the best thing possible for getting amazing images.. completely ignored the cameras! These two had such amazing chemistry!

I'll stop there, but I'll just say that the rest of the reception was full of lots of laughs, tons of fun, and some of the best live music we've seen yet! I can't wait to show you guys the rest of your images!

Shae and Ben, you both were so amazing, and you showed that it's not worth letting the little things that may go wrong get you down, and all that matters is being surrounded by love and taking in every moment that you possibly can.
