I've said it before, and I'll say it again... bridals are probably our very favorite type of session to shoot. I recommend scheduling a bridal or couples session to everyone who wants some more variety in their portraits. Since Matt and I do stress a strong use of photojournalism on the wedding day itself with portrait sessions kept as brief as possible, this is an awesome way to add some variety to your collection without the time constraints of the wedding day schedule.
Sarah was getting married at Second Presbyterian, so we met there so we could do some inside shooting and stay out of the cold as much as possible!
Even though Sarah has a beautiful smile, her strong, defined facial features made her look stunning in her stoic shots.

Just a couple of classic shots..

We spent a little while playing in the stairwells where we spotted this neat window..
Sarah was such a good sport with letting us go outside for just a few minutes to take advantage of the late afternoon light. There was a biting cold wind, but Sarah was a trooper.. and the wind coupled with her long veil made for some fun shots.. even when it got blown right out of her hair!

I liked this one because the angles of her body seem to mirror the angles of the veil
We just shot Sarah & Ben's wedding this past Saturday and it was INCREDIBLE! Stay tuned to the blog for some previews from their day!
