Kara and Remington | Sampson's Hollow Wedding Photography | Walland, TN

Kara & Remington were married back on April 5th, but don't worry, I have a good excuse for delaying their blog feature, so just hang with me for a bit.

When we woke bright and early and headed toward the mountains to Sampson's Hollow, the sky was overcast, but it looked like the sun was trying to burn through and everyone's hopes were high that the outdoor ceremony would go as planned. Unfortunately, as morning turned to afternoon, the skies opened up with a hard, steady rain that didn't let up until late that night! However, Kara & Remington never flinched, rolled with the punches, and the wedding turned out wonderfully.



Wedding days are long and tiring for flower girls!








Kara was radiant!


We were taken aback by how big and bright her eyes are.. just lovely!


Though it was too rainy to use their original ceremony site, they were still able to be wed outdoors under a tent in front of the house, while the guests watched comfortable from the large front porch. Remington's first reaction to seeing Kara was so funny!


Extreme weather can allow for some unique shots! I love the wet umbrella with the water dripping from the tent.

Remington and his mom had a lively mother/son dance, while his father watched happily from behind.




Then it was party time for the rest of the night!




At the end of the night, Kara hoisted her dress and off they went to their bridal cabin.


Since the rain prevented us from taking many outdoor photos on the wedding day, we met up with Kara & Remington a couple of weeks later on the prettiest day we could find and had some fun. It was a great idea!
