Lindsey and Freddie | Chilhowee Church Wedding Photography | Knoxville, TN

Lindsey & Freddie are both sweethearts! We've had such an easy time working with them throughout their engagement and their wedding. We even had a chance to chat with them again this past weekend since they were guests at another wedding we were shooting. I really enjoy staying in contact with the people we work with. Marriage is such a huge life change and it's interesting to see what everyone is up to after they've settled into their new routines.

Here are a couple of details of Lindsey's dress, detailed with a few champagne-colored embellishments. I love color accents on wedding gowns, and I think it can give you a boost if you are worried about the solid white fabric blanching out your skin tones. Using bold colors in your bouquet also offers a nice contrast.





Lindsey had a special moment with her grandmother as she popped in to say hello and got a glimpse of Lindsey in her dress for the first time.

During picture time, the weather outside was very hot, bright, and windy! So, to not risk ruining everyone's hair before the ceremony, we stuck to the interior of the church for most of the photos






Why are these bridesmaids laughing so hard?


A few feet away, the flower girl was posing for a shot (for someone else) with the guestbook attendant. Being the height that she is, she put her hand wherever she could reach, and, well...

Neither of them knew why everyone was laughing of course and the whole thing was completely innocent, but it sure cracked us all up!

Later after the ceremony, a storm was moving in (the reason for all of that wind!) and we had just a few minutes before it started raining to grab some shots just outside of the church.





Lindsey and Freddie had a brief cake reception following the ceremony, and then they exited to a barrage of bubbles as they headed off to their honeymoon on Hilton Head Island!
