Cassie & Matt were married in Gatlinburg on September 14th, but a while before their wedding they came to Knoxville for their engagement session. We were shooting near water and it was a super muggy afternoon (one of those where our lenses fogged for a good 10 minutes before they acclimated to the outside air) but they were total troopers and did such a great job together in front of the cameras.
I'm still way behind on blogging, which I guess is a curse and a blessing. A curse because that list of shoots I still need to feature is intimidating, but a blessing because at least I'll have enough blog content to last me most of the way through the winter season! We're in the middle of our fall season now and have been enjoying some amazing weather for our recent weddings. If only it could be fall all year round (my husband's solution to that is to move back to Southern California.. but I say no way - I love Tennessee too much, humidity and mosquitoes be darned!)
Here are some peeks at Cassie & Matt's session!

I've found that people either love or hate the texturing of an image, so I only do so sparingly, but I like to use them to punch up an image every now and then.

I love the old-fashioned look of her ring. Lots of sparkly and shiny!
Sand in Knoxville.. it exists.

Another sandy feet shot
And one last shot as the sun was setting over the lake
Next up: Julianne & Jason's wedding!
