Brett and Jodi | L & N Station Wedding Photography | Knoxville, TN

I'm still working through making sure all of our summer and fall weddings get their deserved blog time, so let's take a time warp back to August 2nd for the wedding of Jodi & Brett. Their ceremony was held at First Baptist Church downtown, with the reception just a short ride away at L&N Station.


Matt started out with the guys as they killed a little time playing football in World's Fair Park




Meanwhile, I had been spending time with the ladies all morning, starting at their hotel room where everyone was in pajamas and facial masks. They'd probably kill me if I posted any of those photos, so we can just skip right on to the church!

Jodi passed the time in her dressing room by playing with her sweet niece, and found out that veils make for an excellent impromptu ghost costume

..which resulted in some serious celebrating!


At some weddings, the man who catches the garter slips it onto the leg of the girl who caught the bouquet. At Jodi & Brett's reception, they decided to alter things a bit by blindfolding the poor unsuspecting groomsmen and doing a little switcheroo! He was in for a surprise!


They danced into the night


And said goodbye to everyone via a sparkler send-off!
