Sarah and Mitch were married this past Saturday, October 13th, at Concord UMC, with their reception at Calhoun's on the River. We shot Sarah and Mitch's engagement back in June, and ever since then we've been looking forward to shooting their wedding, because we knew it was going to be a great one! These two are so awesome!
They chose to see each other before the ceremony in Concord's chapel. I love Sarah's excited expression as she walked toward the altar, where Mitch was waiting with his back turned.
A few first reactions...

Mitch & Sarah kneeled together and said a sweet prayer, and then they had some alone time before we started some photos.

Sarah is so naturally beautiful, it is impossible to take a bad shot of her!

Mitch cleans up a'iight, too. His whole family is blessed with these amazing blue eyes.. no Photoshop tricks!
I love this series between Sarah & her dad before the ceremony.

Concord UMC has a beautiful sanctuary with lots of natural light!
After the ceremony, the wedding party piled into a Knoxville trolley for the trip down to Calhoun's.
When we arrived, we took just a few minutes for some quick shots with the wedding party at Volunteer Landing, where Mitch & Sarah got engaged! (Also where we shot their engagement session) This light was unbelievable, and literally 3 minutes later it was gone! We lucked out!
First dance as hubby and wifey..
Sarah & Mitch, you guys were an absolute joy to work with. We feel very lucky to have been a part of your day!
