Tasha and Luke | Wedding Photography | Whiteshead, TN

I am back in the office after a busy double wedding weekend! It's always especially hard to dive back into the behind-the-scenes work (a full-time job in itself!) after a shooting marathon, but I'm trying to be kind to my aching muscles and I'll tough it out. ;-) And what better way to start a Monday than with a new blog post?

On October 6th, Matt and I headed out to Whiteshead, TN for the wedding of Tasha & Luke. Their ceremony was held at a beautiful farm owned by some friends of theirs, and it was an absolutely beautiful location for a wedding. Matt and I assured the owners that they would have people lined up around the block if they started renting out the area for weddings, but I'm not entirely sure we convinced them.. weddings are hard work!

I spent a lil' time with the girls in an adorable guest house on the property while they got ready for the day..



The weather was roasting hot that day, but Tasha found a surefire way to beat the heat!


After their first meeting, we had some fun on the farm with some relaxed shots...


We just adored the light filtering into this barn


Blue sky was one thing this day was definitely not lacking! I couldn't stop shooting on this hill!


This is Tasha & Luke's sweet little baby, Piper. Check out his tie.. that is one stylin' schnauzer! Piper was a little overwhelmed by all the activity, and he expressed his exhaustion with a big ole yawn during his photo time!


Tasha & Luke opted for unity sand instead of a candle (perfect for outdoor ceremonies!), done in Tasha's wedding colors of chocolate & pink. We thought the sand vials were the perfect spot for a ring shot!

Sparkler send-off.. we are so in love with sparklers and we get excited every time we get to shoot them!
