The weather this past Saturday was surprisingly mild for mid-January. The sky was clear blue, and the air was crisp and cool, but not enough to where being outside was uncomfortable.. we barely even needed to wear a jacket! The result? The ability to give Denise and Clark an outdoor sunset e-session (our favoritest of the favorite)

We have such a love affair with engagement and bridal sessions. They are so laid back. No one is stressed out, there are no time constraints, we have total control over light and the time of day that we shot.. and they're just flat out FUN!!

This is one reason why I encourage our clients to book both an engagement and bridal session with us along with your wedding package. The engagement session will loosen you up in front of the camera, get you used to the way we shoot, and the best part - provide you with some awesome shots of the two of you just having fun together. The bridal sessions are great because it gives you a chance to do a run-through of your final dress alterations, hair, and makeup, and gives us a chance to give you 10 times the variety of bridal portraits than is possible on the wedding day itself.

But I digress... we really enjoyed shooting with Denise & Clark. They are a very sweet couple, and I bet their wedding is going to be a joy to photograph. Here are some of my favorites from their downtown session:
