Anne and Michael | Crowne Plaza Wedding Photography | Knoxville, TN

We're back! After spending the last 5 days on Hilton Head Island baking on the beach, riding bikes, swimming, taking Dex for fun walks, and eating seafood, we are now recharged to tackle the back end of this year's busy season. The rest was badly needed and I am so glad we were able to take a trip this year. I was almost to my breaking point!

I'm easing myself back into my normal work routine by taking another chip out of my blog queue.. let's take a look at Anne & Michael's wedding! They were married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Morristown, with their reception following at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Knoxville.

I remembered how wonderful Anne & Michael were to work with when we shot their engagement session, and their sweet personalities made them such a joy to be around on their wedding day.

Anne wore a strapless drop-waist gown with pick-ups on the skirt that looked amazing on her.

The adorable flower girl needed just a little bit of extra encouragement from Mommy for that long trek down the aisle.

We took a short while to get some photos of the wedding party, family, and of course, the newlyweds






I thought the cake stand was very creative and lovely, utilizing glass tiles and lights. The cake is also beautiful! Sugar drapery is a difficult skill, but the bow on the front of the cake was perfect and so realistic.

Anne and her dad began their special dance with a slower song, and then burst out into a more lively dance that was so much fun!
