Ashley & Robbie's wedding took us all the way to Roan Mountain, TN on some property where many members of Ashley's family have houses. It was an extremely hot day, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and climbed out of our car to notice that the temperature was at least 10 degrees cooler at the higher elevation. It made all the difference in the world.
One of the flower girls kept stealing my heart with her sweet face and adorable hair curlers!!

Ashley's backyard.. isn't it beautiful?
We had already done a bridal session with Ashley a few months before the wedding, but I couldn't resist the blue walls of this shed.
They picked a great time of day for their ceremony, when the sun was low and not as harsh, but still high enough to give us some pretty flares during the processional.
Ceremonies can be long and boring for young children, but this flower girl found ways to entertain herself while waiting up front with the rest of the wedding party.

We were very excited when we found a rusty old truck on the property!
Some reactions to the toasts.
The first dance
Kids are usually uninhibited when it comes to dancing at receptions, and they can always keep the party going.

Just as the reception was ending a pretty brutal storm blew in, but Ashley & Robbie still braved the weather for their golf-cart and bubble exit.
Next up: Mandi & Kyle's Nashville e-session!
