I'm posting this session just a little out of order, since it came right in time for the announcements of this year's Fall Special for lifestyle sessions.
For lifestyle sessions scheduled for October 22nd - November 5th, you will receive $50 off of your session fee as well as a free inclusion of your high-resolution digital files with a printing release. Because I am only one person, I will be limiting the number of sessions booked during that time, so don't miss out on this offer and contact me today!
When I shoot families and children, you won't get any "look over here and smile!" shots. Though that kind of traditional family portrait can be beautiful, I prefer to shoot candidly in your home, capturing who you really are! That way, young children are able to be at home where they are comfortable and are not forced to hold poses or smile at the scary new lady they've never seen before. Also, these sessions are just plain fun!
A few weeks ago I met up with Baby S and his mom, Andrea. Baby S is at the age where sitting still is just not happening, so he definitely kept me on my toes the entire time I was hanging out with them. I watched as Andrea and Baby S engaged in some activities that they enjoy doing together.
Not long after I arrived, Baby S headed for the door, ready to go outside and play!

Then we went upstairs to his colorful bedroom, where he showed me how he likes to play with his shapes..
.. and read his books (that's a big book for such a lil' guy!)
He also likes reading with mommy!

He had far too much energy to sit through a whole story, however, and it wasn't long before he was on the move again!
Tickle time!

We returned outside again where Baby S decided he wanted to play in the sandbox for awhile. He thought that my pants would look great covered in sand, too! It's all good though, I don't mind getting a little dirty!
Their sweet golden retriever, Cosmo, getting some baby snuggles.
I grabbed this fleeting moment when Baby S stopped playing for a second to give mommy some love.
He loves to "bow" the lawn!
Check out those eyelashes!
We ended the session with a yummy snack, which he enjoyed immensely. Can you believe those blue eyes?
Don't forget to schedule your own lifestyle session and take advantage of the special!
Next up: Chris & Heather's wedding!
