Heather and Chris | Crescent Bend Wedding Photography | Knoxville, TN

It's about time I posted another blog! We were without an internet connection for most of last week. There was a problem with the signal coming from the cables feeding into our house, and it took a while to get it fixed. It's amazing how much we rely on the internet when it feels like the world stops spinning when we don't have it!

Onward..

Crescent Bend is a beautiful location for weddings, and was the choice Heather & Chris made for their outdoor ceremony and reception.

When scheduling your wedding at Crescent Bend (or pretty much any outdoor venue), we recommend starting your ceremony about an hour before sunset. That way, we will have the best outdoor light for both the ceremony and your portrait session, and your guests will thank you for avoiding the brutal heat of those Tennessee summer days! A later ceremony at Crescent Bend also guarantees that your reception will last until after dark, which is when the fountains are lit up and make for some beautiful photo ops!

A few details while getting ready..

Doorways and windows are great for some diffused light when trying to avoid harsh full sun photos!

Heather incorporated gerbera daisies into her florals, which is my very favorite flower! Their flat centers also make a perfect nest for the rings.

Heather and some friends and family were led in a pre-ceremony prayer up in the bridal prep room.

Some post-ceremony celebratin'! That's one strong bridesmaid!

I love moments like this!

Crescent Bend really comes alive at night.

These fountains are a must for photos once the colored lights are turned on.

You guys are the best!

Next up: Brittainy and Mike's wedding!
