What is a lifestyle session?

As an alternative to a traditional family portrait session, the focus of these images is on capturing a "slice of life". While you participate in activities that are a part of your every day life, I work candidly to capture the essence of your family. To help prepare me for each shoot, we will speak beforehand so I can learn more about your family. Are there certain habits or quirks your little one has that you want to remember? What kinds of activities do you enjoy doing together? What is your daily routine like? These questions and more will help me to better create an authentic photo-representation of your family.

Where does the session take place?

Because authenticity is an important ingredient to a lifestyle shoot, all sessions take place inside (and outside - weather permitting) of your home - no matter how big or small, simple or elaborate.
